Objective − The aim of study was to evaluate the effects parental smoking and tobacco smoke exposure (TSE) on asthma symptoms in children, raise awareness detrimental TSE for asthmatic children.Methods A modified validated questionnaire completed by 76 parents their children who were being treated at Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital asthma. Patients filled a standardized ACT about symptoms, whereas data derived from parents. answers structured as ordinal categorical variables. non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test Kruskal-Wallis performed.Results −There are statistically significant differences frequency depending whether household members smoked cigarettes, with cigarettes outside house, only one/certain room or everywhere house. 34.1% vs 9.4% nonsmoking allow car while child is riding it. 40.9% 21.9% non-smoking believe that exposed somewhere other than car.Conclusion associated more worse control children.
